Frequently Asked Questions

Permanent makeup is the implantation of pigment into the dermal layers of the skin called micropigmentation.
Most of our clients report mild to moderate discomfort similar to an intense tickling or prickling sensation. Topical anesthetic cream is applied to relieve discomfort.

Everyone is a candidate for permanent makeup. Permanent Makeup saves you time and money and is ideal for anyone with an active lifestyle. Permanent makeup can also offer solutions for people with medical conditions such as alopecia, bad eyesight and shaky hands.

The procedure is permanent, however, permanent makeup does fade over time. We recommend getting procedures touched up every 3-10 years. Some factors can contribute to fading more quickly, such as sun exposure, use of tanning beds, and the use of glycolic acids, alpha hydroxy or products containing retinol.

Permafaces Permanent Makeup customizes permanent makeup colors for each individual.

Permafaces Permanent Makeup uses only disposable needles and does not reuse needles.

Each procedure takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

As with any invasive procedure, there is a small risk of an adverse or allergic reaction. All pigments are MRI safe.
